The Jed Martin #6 Foundation is proud to celebrate a very special honor for our president, Ricky Martin, who was once again asked to deliver the commencement speech for the Blanco High School graduating class of 2026.
This marks Ricky’s third consecutive year to be invited to speak at Blanco High School’s graduation ceremony. It is a remarkable “three-peat” that speaks to the deep connection he has built with the students, families, faculty, and community of Blanco ISD.
What makes this honor even more meaningful is that Ricky has been selected by the students themselves. For three consecutive years, the graduating class has chosen him to stand before them on one of the most important nights of their lives and offer words of encouragement, wisdom, faith, and hope as they step into the next chapter.
For the Jed Martin #6 Foundation, this moment is especially close to our hearts.
Ricky’s love for students, his heart for Blanco, and his desire to encourage young people are all deeply connected to the mission of this Foundation. The Jed Martin #6 Foundation was established in loving memory of Dr. Joshua Jed Martin, and our purpose is to honor Jed’s life and legacy by supporting graduating seniors who demonstrate academic success, outstanding character, and multiple levels of accomplishment.
To see Ricky continue pouring into the students of Blanco High School is a beautiful reflection of that mission.
His 2026 commencement address was a powerful reminder of the value of perseverance, character, faith, family, and community. Ricky spoke with the kind of sincerity and care that has made him such a beloved presence among the students. He encouraged the graduates not only to pursue success, but also to live with purpose, gratitude, humility, and love for others.
We are grateful to Blanco High School, Blanco ISD, and the graduating class of 2026 for honoring Ricky with this invitation once again. We are also thankful for the students who continue to welcome him, trust him, and allow him to be part of such a meaningful milestone.
Congratulations to the Blanco High School Class of 2026. We celebrate your accomplishments, your hard work, and the exciting future ahead of you. May you carry forward the lessons, encouragement, and love shared on this special night.
From all of us at the Jed Martin #6 Foundation, we are proud of Ricky, proud of the graduates, and grateful for the opportunity to continue honoring Jed’s legacy through moments like this.
